When you meet, how to greet
These are language lessons developed by Richard Green for use in teaching the language. They explain the process of reclamation
Some talk about country you are on. This is based around Sydney, some areas in the city and the grounds of the university. There was a borah ground in the Ultimo/Chippendale area and it was used for educational purposes for many thousands of years. We want to speak about this again in our language
These are examples that can be used in other applications as a wordlist or phrases. It is talking about our totem and our country. Also we want to extend this with more lessons about the weather and about our star trails.

Rather than "welcome" there are expressions like:
its good to see you wherever you are from
Warami wellamabami
A response would be to name your country:
I am from Parramatta
Ngaya Burramatta-ga
You then might ask about the person:
Whats your name?
Ngan ngyinu giyara
I am Nambrimbrii (let the rivers run, let the people be all one color)
Ngaya Nambrimbrii -ma (as Richard introduces himself)
Kinship is important, where does the new comer fit into the society:
We are your relatives
Ngyina-wa Mudjin-Marlin
I am your uncle
Ngaya ngyinu Guwan
I am your aunty
Ngaya ngyinu Wurrai
Then welcome with food:
Lets eat together
Bada-la Bada lalibyila
